Photorealism:
photorealism means that a scene in a video game seems realistic but is not. To distinguish a photorealistic game form real life you focus on the small detail. In a photorealistic game some lines might seem too straight and also some parts of the picture might be blurred on purpose and this might make the picture look fake. This style can create many moods such as happiness and fear. The following picture shows uncharted 4 the thief’s end this photorealistic game changes mood and themes throughout the story from happiness to fear to adventure and others.
“Photorealism simply means that a simulated scene appears indistinguishable from a photograph, or by extension, from real life.” - https://www.tomsguide.com/us/photorealism-ten-years-why,review-1915-2.html

Pixel:
Pixel art in computer games is usually used in 2d side scrolling, adventure games these games mostly are story rich and very immersive in the story. Majority of the art is made in 8 or 16 bit formats which allows the blocky look for this kind of art style. This art style sets a happy or gloomy retro mood the games
“Pixel art
is a type of digital art where artists specify the location of individual
pixels, which are built up to create intricate scenes, game backgrounds,
characters, and 3D effects – all with a limited colour pallet.”- http://www.creativebloq.com/illustration/examples-pixel-art-2132036

Cell shading:
Cell shading is a style that uses much less colours than normal. This style doesn’t use any bloom and makes the image look more simple and minimalistic also the image look more flat. The colours and extra detail are added layer by layer as shown in the picture below. The mood that this style presents is emotion less because a lot of the extra colours that would be there normally are gone making the image look less lively. Also this style looks more cartoony.

Exaggaduration:
Exaggeration
is an art style mostly used in anime or manga books but also it has been use in
video games such as finl fantasy persona and many others. This artistic style
exaggerates some prats of the human body such as the eyes or the mouth.

" Its designed to be over the top. Its done to give the game a more far fetched fun factor. The images are expressed more highly than normal games."
