in the recent games female video game have been represented respectfully. But there's still a stigma where women are still objectified for example in street fighter women are shown in a sexual way.

The Pan European Game Information (PEGI) is an age rating system from 3-18 and this was created to simplify what is allowed for what age so European parent can make an informed decision on what to purchase for their child.
